As an Urban Designer at the City of Toronto I provide analysis of a wide variety of development proposals including residential, commercial, industrial, transit and public realm projects. Notable projects I’ve worked on include the proposed Ontario Place redevelopment and Warden Station redevelopment. As a Heritage Planner I led area-based studies including the Scarborough Centre Cultural Heritage Resource Assessment (CHRA), Geary Avenue CHRA, and Bloor Street, St. Helen’s Ave to Perth Ave CHRA. My work involved project management, historic research, public engagement, heritage evaluations, and policy development.

As a Heritage Planner I reviewed and provided analysis of a wide variety of development proposals involving heritage properties. Projects ranged from small additions and exterior alterations to major projects involving heritage retention and the addition of tall building forms. Notable projects I worked on include 603 Sherbourne (image shown).


Heritage Planning - Heritage Inventory Project at City of Ottawa

I co-led the Heritage Inventory Project, a city-wide study of Ottawa’s built form and cultural heritage value. This involved project management, historic research, heritage evaluation and policy development.

As a Heritage Planner at the City of Ottawa I conducted research and analysis of individual sites and large geographic areas for potential designation under the Ontario Heritage Act and developed Heritage Conservation District studies and plans including the Clemow-Monkland Driveway and Linden Terrace Heritage Conservation District Plan

Free City - Graphic Design/Illustration

I was the graphic designer for the inaugural issue of the McGill School of Urban Planning’s student run publication. I also provided illustrations for the front, rear and inside covers. The issue can be seen here.


Heritage Masonry - Hunt Heritage Masonry

As a Heritage Mason I repaired, conserved and restored historic buildings using traditional techniques and materials. Notable projects I worked on include the Campbell Block at the corner of Dundas St W and Keele in the Junction (photographs shown).
